*New Feature: Front-End Attachments – Now your visitors/customers can upload attachments from the front-end support portal, if you enable front-end attachments in the settings a upload box will appear at the bottom of the new ticket form for logged in users only. Accepted file types are jpg, jpeg, gif, bmp, png, txt, doc. *Be sure to set max file size in email settings.
*New Feature: Knowledge Base Article Ratings – Added new feature if enabled in the setting tab to allow your visitors to rate a knowledge base article as helpful or unhelpful. This allows you to improve articles that are deemed unhelpful by your visitors. Improving these articles is a sure way to reduce the number of support tickets.
*New Feature: Knowledge Base Rating Stats – Converted Knowledge base views stats box on the support dashboard to Knowledge Base Stats – which includes Views, Most Helpful, Most Unhelpful stats.
*New Feature: Topic Stats – Added a new stat box to the support dashboard to show the total number of tickets for each of your support ticket topics.
*New Feature: Knowledge Base Topic Management – Added new menu link under Knowledge Base to add/edit/delete your knowledge base topics.
Updated Ticket Reply Stats – Improved counting to exclude admin and staff replies from totals.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you experience any account or update errors after updating to version 1.10.55, be sure to go to the account tab and just click on update e-mail to refresh your account status with the server.
All Support Dynamo users should see an update notification in their WordPress > Plugins page shortly. To update to the latest version go into the plugin and select Support and if your account is “active” you will be prompted to update.
Alternatively, you can login to your PluginDynamo.com account and download the updated version manually.
