We have quite a big update releasing today for Support Dynamo, be sure to read all update instructions below.
New In v1.10.61
New – Tickets by email now supports POP3 or IMAP protocol – Be sure to go back to your email settings and select which you are using and save after upgrading.
New – Ticket assignment – When a member of your support staff replies to a ticket, it gets assigned to them, in the user roles settings you can assign what a role can see, their own, all, unassigned.
Improvement – Updates to User Roles – You would need to go back and delete all previously created roles and re-create, vast changes have been done to support the new ticket assignment and fix some issues.
Improvement – Ticket Submit Form – improved Ajax handling on new ticket submit form – if unsuccessful, all data will remain in form.
Improvement – Ticket Redirects – improved redirect function and ticket access validation process for who can view a certain ticket.
Fix – Topic drop down not showing any topics if not logged in and integrating with WishList.
Fix – Disabled WordPress default new comment notification email on ticket replies.
Fix – Ticket IDs – When creating a new ticket from the Add New ticket screen – ticket ID was not being assigned to ticket title.
Fix – Removed ticket replies from show up in recent comments widget.
Fix – Auto Response drop down showing up sometimes on customer front end – fixed to only show for support staff/admin.
Fix – Knowledgebase taxonomy.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you experience any account or update errors after updating to version 1.10.61, be sure to go to the account tab and just click on update e-mail to refresh your account status with the server.
All Support Dynamo users should see an update notification in their WordPress > Plugins page shortly. To update to the latest version go into the plugin and select Support and if your account is “active” you will be prompted to update.
Alternatively, you can login to your PluginDynamo.com account and download the updated version manually.
