
The Bob Moog Foundation will be hosting An Evening With Patrick Gleeson, streaming live from the Moogseum on May 23, 2023, from 7-9 p.m. ET.
The event will feature master synthesist Patrick Gleeson, discussing his career as a synthesist; Different Fur, the San Francisco recording studio he founded in 1968; his work with the likes of Devo, Brian Eno and David Byrne; his friendship with Bob Moog; and his work on the synthesized soundtrack to Apocalypse Now.
In-person tickets to the event have sold out, but tickets for a guided Moogseum tours and VIP lunch are still available.
An Evening With Patrick Gleeson will feature:
- A live demonstration of his vintage Moog modular synthesizer, heard on the soundtrack to Apocalypse Now;
- An interview with Gleeson, hosted by BMF’s Michelle Moog-Koussa, about his career and his insights on synthesis; and
- The evening will conclude with a short DJ set from Dr. Gleeson.
The event starts at 7:00 PM ET and will be livestreamed for those who have purchased tickets.
